Our partnership with the Ukrainian integrated steel company began when we installed a T-25/8.8 turbine generator at the plant in 1995. Since then we have been handling technical maintenance activities there, repairing and replacing equipment, and upgrading equipment to boost its energy efficiency.
- Developing the facility’s overall energy resources production/consumption balance for 2022
- Developing atmospheric emissions substantiation paperwork for approval by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine bodies
- Constructing process and heating boiler plant to cover the needs of the facility’s mining and concentrating area
- Installing a K5500-42-1 compressor with a VKV22 turbine
- Installing a K1700-61-1 #13 compressor for the air separation shop
- Revamping a GM-50 boiler
- Environmental and thermal engineering testing of steam boilers
- Revamping steam blower co-generation plant #3 with the replacement of a K-3000 compressor with a K-5500 unit
- Project development for installing a PCI unit for BF #9 (jointly with Luxembourg’s Paul Wurth).
